CHIRON MUSINGS 1
So, as I sit here today, I have been more reflective on what has happened in my own experiences, particularly since May 2025 when my Chiron returned. I do not expect you to know what Chiron is so I will briefly explain it before I move onto my next post.
We will all have our Chiron return around the age of 49 / 50 years of age. It will be a point in your life where you will find an inner demand to shift towards your true nature beyond the influence of social conditioning. Most likely it is not a comfortable time and there may be upheaval or even crisis. Divorces, change of relationships (also dynamics in the same relationship), environments, new perspectives on life can come up that are common. It will require you to confront your shadow aligned to your childhood wounds so there is the development of the objective perspective around that trauma. This allows the integration of your shadow, thus the healing, recognising that it is just as much a part of who you are along with your true nature. This is truly understanding who you are when you integrate the light and the dark, rather than suppressing the so-called negative, the bad, the uncomfortable aspects of yourself. The wound is 2-fold, so we are wounded, no choice. The 1st wound happens in the womb, through maternal conditioning and this is in no way to blame loving Mothers, it just happens beyond their conscious control. The 2nd wound happens in the early years of the infant, who is too young to understand where this original wound came from, it is just a hypersensitivity that exists and we carry for half of our life. The wound occurs as it is an opportunity for our own personal growth and spiritual maturation while the trauma helps us to not forget the original wound that needs to be worked on since it happened prior to us consciously being able to understand it. Anything in life that is difficult or generates negative emotional frequencies is where our greatest lessons and healing come from. We know we have healed when you respond differently, rather than react, to the same stimuli. Life has a way of putting these same experiences in your field as a reminder of the wound that needs to be healed.
When you see Chiron in your astrological chart, this will be an area of hypersensitivity you carry in regards to that theme. The house where your Chiron sits represents the theme of the hypersensitivity, a bunch of experiences that fit into this particular category (where you feel rejected, how it plays out). The astrological sign represents the process that motivates Chiron to present in the way that it does. Having this wound, we can also wound others through this same unresolved mechanism, so you become the wounder. It is like a trinity. Take for example my Chiron in the 3rd house of communication. I can feel wounded and rejected that I was not heard, understood, listened to and yet I had the ability to cut others down with my words (wounder). It is the development of the objective perspective around Chiron returns (healing) that helped me to see that me carrying that subjective perspective and victim mentality was not allowing me to clearly see the dynamic that exists between myself and others, in every interaction I had. As we move into our 50’s and are more aligned with our true nature, we will have a tendency to shed those that are not in resonance to that nature. I made up a saying years ago, “those that dull you cull”. You will find that all relationships need to be orientated around quality, not quantity so you will most likely have less true friends in your life and you are no longer willing to compromise your peace for any forms of social conditioning that may tell you otherwise. This is the ultimate healing and maturation of the spirit is to love all of yourself, warts and all, and realise that you were always whole, nothing was ever missing. Your change in perspective simply allowed you to come home to yourself. It is like we go through a 50-year apprenticeship before we can truly live the last 40-50 years of our life in our own true nature. It is an understanding that cannot be fast-tracked, no choice.
