CHIRON MUSINGS 9
Which direction am I supposed to go in my life? How do I know what is right for me? Where you will not find the answer is in your mind. The G centre in Human Design has an important function. It is our “Geometry”, it is the trajectory that our body knows where to go. It contains our identity, the Self even housing the spirit of the Self as one of its gates. The G centre has only an attractive force that pulls together the conscious black side and the unconscious red side in your chart and ensures that they travel in the same direction. The red and the black sides do not talk to each other; in fact, it is a forced marriage. The G centre is not a mediator that encourages the 2 sides to talk to resolve their differences, it is just a bridge between the 2 sides that pulls them together along a common trajectory in this journey we call life. The red side brings our aura and this is what other people feel when meeting us. We are frequency, we are energy and matter in juxtaposition, it is body and mind. This is why we feel differently around different people, have different conversations with different people, resonate to other people’s energy or not. This becomes a determining force of whether we engage with that specific other or not. It is all body intelligence, not mind, that determines this. When it comes to our unique direction, it fundamentally starts with us making the correct decision for us. The correct decision again is trusting the intelligence of the body, through feeling, rather than the intellect of mind that is too heavily conditioned by the external environment. The mind does not trust in life, like the body, it seeks safety and security in the known even if that circumstance is less than desirable. The body does not have the fears of the mind and is willing to try something new if it is correct, to experience what it needs to for its own spiritual maturation. Decisions create movement in a particular direction that create circumstances. If you trust your feelings in decision making, you will be in the right place at the right time, synchronistically meeting the right forces for you. You will then learn more about yourself in these circumstances. This does not mean that life is always easy, it means that you learn what you need to learn through that engagement, heal what you need to heal. Afterall, life is a journey of where we heal the wounds of the spirit around life, love and death. As we will see in the next post, people can have their G defined or undefined. If it is undefined, it does not mean you do not have an identity or unique direction. You have an identity and direction that can be found through engagements with the correct others. If it is defined, well you have your own fixed direction that you carry in this life that is independent of other’s influence while still engaging with them.
